Gossip?

A friend's Filipina wife is adamant about him not talking to their neighbors or becoming friendly with them because she say's they will gossip about him behind his back.
She is very very concerned about gossip and is constantly reminding him not to talk or tell anybody anything about himself or their family.
Be concerned about Filipino gossiping....
